first senior of 2021 / leah

Leah was my f i r s t senior from the class of 2021. She was such a joy to work with and her personality explodes through all of her images. It was very clear from the moment we started shooting that the majority of our session was going to be filled with authentic laughing pictures. She is just so carefree and joyful. Before her shoot, Leah expressed that she wanted images the felt like her, and I think we nailed it. The best images from this session were the ones where I just told Leah, to move around naturally or just shake it out. The end result was a collection of images that feel relaxed and happy.

One of the things about Leah’s session was that we shot in an area that to the eye, didn’t look very ascetically pleasing. I’m so thankful for clients that trust my eye and are willing to venture to unconventional locations for shots. Some of my favorites from this session were by the white wall, which in person didn’t look like much, but those images draw your eye to the subject of the photo rather than the setting. It’s clear that Leah was the star of the show.
